Cut and Curl Candle-The lost art of hand-sculpting candles goes back two centuries. The 18th century chandlers perfected carving and shaping molten wax into intricate designs.(MT-4 pictured left is $23.99 plus S&H)

We closely follow the methods used by the early craftsmen. Each candle is hand-dipped 30 times in hot, liquid wax, then carved, braided, stretched and curled while wax is pliable. Finally, each candle is dipped in a special glaze leaving a hard and glossy exterior finish.

GREAT GIFTS

Candle holders and sculptures from Windstone by Pena´ are available in many designs.

At the heart of every piece is the artist's passion for living creatures. This passion, coupled with a lifelong study of animal behavior and anatomy, and an astonishing gift for three-dimensional art, results in sculpture so intriguing and life like it is without equal.

Since 1984, museum-quality reproductions of these sculptures have been cast in natural mineral stone and hand-painted in the United States.

Pellicide sculptures from John Perry Studios are available in many sizes of Dolphins, Whales, Wolves, and Hummingbirds(NEW). Hummingbird is one of newest designs, sells for $19.00 plus S&H.

In the 25 years since John Perry ceased making one of a kind sculpture and opened the Studio, he has been able to do with sculpture what printmakers do for painting, making it accessible and affordable.

By applying the very latest molding techniques and materials to his work, he is able to reproduce each piece as an exact replica of the original.

The material is a versatile resin compound called Pellucida™, that can be presented in a variety of colors and textures.
